Exercise Compact Grey 2007 was a live command post and signals exercise conducted from 14th to 20th November 2007 in the areas of Stargard Szczeciński, Bielkowo, Choszczno and Wałcz. More than 450 soldiers from the Polish 100th Signal Battalion, 104th Support Battalion and German 610th Signal Battalion took part in this exercise. In fact, it was the first time when all three battalions could train together.
An operational scenario that was applied made the exercise highly mobile. Altogether there were 39 relocations of command posts and the Communication and Information System set-ups conducted both at day and night.
According to the Command Support Brigade staff and subordinate units the exercise turned out to be a success. It showed highly motivated and well trained units that eagerly faced challenges and solved all the assigned tasks.
