After several months of intensive preparations, the exercise Crystal Eagle 2008 was conducted from 18th to 26th September in Wildflecken, Germany.
HQ MNC NE personnel, soldiers from the 1st Estonian Brigade, 37th German Brigade, 1st Latvian Brigade and 7th Polish Brigade as well as representatives of different national forces commands and other NATO Corps, altogether about 1200 soldiers from 18 NATO countries moved to the Army Warfighting Simulation Centre in Wildflecken to exercise planning, preparing, executing, commanding and assessing of Peace Support Operations.
