"Our Fairy Tale" kindergarten in Szczecin organized a festival named "After uniforms kids line up". The event was organized to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Polish Armed Forces’ presence in the West Pomeranian region. The representatives of the Multinational Corps North East, 12th Mechanized Division, municipal police, fire brigade and West Pomeranian Education Welfare Office were invited to take part in the celebration.During the Saturday’s afternoon kindergarten was turned into the small military training area, where paper balls battle took place, military drill training and many others could be practiced. All participating children were able to see different military uniforms from various countries, watch the police officers riding horses and motorbikes, and also observe the specially trained police dogs in action. - "It was the great educational possibility for our children and a great fun for their parents. Throughout all those funny competitions and presentations children found out more about soldiers and learned how to trust them" - Mrs Małgorzata Błaszkiewicz, head of kindergarten, said after the event .
