The Chief of the German Army in MNC NE

The Chief of the German Army, Lt. Gen. Otto Budde visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE).

The Chief of Staff of the German Army, Lt. Gen. Otto Budde visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE). He was welcomed by the Commander of MNC NE, Lt. Gen. Egon Ramms and his deputy Maj. Gen. Jan Brun Andersen.

During one-day visit, Lt. Gen. Otto BUDDE was familiarized with upcoming exercises Compact Eagle scheduled to take place in Szczecin from 31st October to 12th November 2005 and NATO certification process that will eventually lead the HQ to Full Operational Capability and possible deployment in Afghanistan in 2007. Furthermore, he discussed the growing importance of MNC NE in the Baltic Region.
