German group from non-governmental organization "Staatspoltische Gesellschaft Hamburg" visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC NE) in Szczecin.
German quests had the full possibility to learn more about the current situation in Poland as well as to familiarize themselves with various aspects of the political and social transformation that has taken place in Poland since 1989.
- "We are here for the third time. Visiting Baltic Barracks is one of the most important parts of the session. Here the participants can observe the real integration that takes place among different nations and also spot how NATO is influencing not only the military organisation but also people mentality" – said one of the visitors Baldur Jahn.
During the briefing LtCol. Uwe Semprich DEU A focused on MNC NE role both in Baltic Region as well as on the all aspects of the Corps integration within the Polish local society. The presentation included information about the history, general organisation of MNC NE. Integration and multinationalism were the two most often subjects raised by the visitors during the questions and answers period.
"For us it is highly interesting to understand and to discuss the complexity of the multinational military organisation, how to live in the foreign society, where are the biggest problems here and how they are dealt with." – said Baldur Jahn after the briefing.
