Last Saturday the 26th November, wives of soldiers from the MNC NE offered for a sale handmade Christmas decorations and cakes in the Radisson Hotel lobby to raise money for the charity.
"We were able to collect 7 500 PLN for Magda! This is our common success" - commented Brigitte Ramms organizer of the second Charity Christmas Bazaar hold on 26 of November. - "In Germany there is an old tradition to organize such Christmas bazaars" – she said. "I’ve decided to bring that tradition to Poland. Ladies from the Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC NE) helped to prepare the decorations for the bazaar. Last year we donated money to children’s home" – added wife of the Commander MNC NE Lt Gen. Egon Ramms.
This year the collected 7 500 PLN will be donated to sponsor the operation of implementing the insulin pump for 7-year-old girl - Magdalena Gałązka, the daughter of Maj. Maciej Gałązka serving in the MNC NE. Last year she was diagnosed with diabetes and since that time she had to have an injection of insulin five-times a day. The insulin pump would cost of approx. 14 000 PLN and it would let Magda to lead a normal life as all children at her age. The rest of the money will be donated by the entire HQ MNC NE.

Also Magda’s colleagues and friends from the Public School Nr. 48 in Szczecin and soldiers’ children prepared various decorations and gifts for bazaar.
