36 groups from Poland, Germany, Denmark and Ukraine visited us last year to learn about the Multinational Corps Northeast. 1790 students, opinion leaders, journalists, policy makers listened to the briefings and took part in panel discussions.
The typical programme of the visit consists of a 45 – 60 minutes briefing with a slide presentation, and question &answer period of time. You will also walk around in the barracks and finally have a group photo as a memory from Szczecin.
In the briefing you will find information about the current situation and mission of Multinational Corps Northeast, but also its history, structure and NATO organization in general as well. There are experienced officers assigned to the briefing team and they are eager to explain in details how MNC NE works. They will also discuss multinationality with you and integration within the headquarters of 8 different countries, its advantages and disadvantages. You may ask all kind of catchy questions during the panel discussion.
Now we are more and more moving into the focus of both the NATO community and the general public. Our upcoming mission in Afghanistan as well as the fact, that we are the only Headquarters within the NATO Force Structure based on the territory of the former Warsaw Pact member, will give you additional flavor of the history. So if you would like to visit MNC NE HQ to taste the past, and to see NATO in change and what is ahead of the Corps you are welcome. Just send us an
