The New Year's Reception 2006 was a good occasion to express appreciation to all for a good cooperation in the past year 2005 and inform those present about Corps’ achievements and plans for the next year.
It has been already a deep – rooted tradition to celebrate the New Year's Reception 2006 in Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE) together with the representatives of the city of Szczecin, voivodeship as well as families and friends of the Headquarters. The New Year's reception was a good occasion to express appreciation to all for a good cooperation in the past year and inform about Corps’ plans for this year.
Last year was completely dominated by the Full Operation Capability evaluation and consequently Headquarters’ certification as a Graduated NATO Deployable Corps HQ. In the inauguration speech Commander of MNC NE Lieutenant General Egon Ramms also emphasized achievements on the field of the multinationalism and integration. The Headquarters last year welcomed and fully integrated into structure officers and non-commissioned officers from Slovakia, the Czech Republic as well as additional soldiers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. 2006 will be fully dominated by the preparation process to peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan.
