On Monday, March 6th, 2006, a group of 23 German officers and non-commissioned-officers – all of them reservists - visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE). In the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast LtCol Uwe Semprich briefed the students on the mission and the organisation of Multinational Corps Northeast.
The presentation also introduced essential information about the history and general organisation of MNC NE with emphasis on multinationalism and internal integration among soldiers from different nations. The briefing was followed by an extended question and answer period. All questions were taken by the Commander of Multinational Corps Northeast, Lieutenant General Egon Ramms, who was the former Commander of this transport battalion as the Commander of the German Support Brigade 1, based in LINGEN in West Germany. Finally the whole group was pictured in the Baltic Barracks surroundings and left the Headquarters after a lunch in the kitchen.
