On Tuesday, 25th April, we welcomed the group of German Rotary District 1870. The Rotarians were invited to come to the Headquarters to learn a bit more about the multinational military organisation as well as NATO itself.
During the briefing LtCol Uwe Semprich focused on MNC NE role both in Baltic Region as well as on the all aspects of the MNC NE integration within the Polish local society. The presentation for the visiting group introduced not only the essential information about the history, general organisation of MNC NE, but also emphasized the multinationalism and the internal integration among the soldiers from different nations. Integration and multiantionalism were the two most common subjects raised by the visitors during the questions and answers period after the briefing.
"It was extremely interesting to see how the multinational Corps is functioning. I have heard about it before but I have not know that the Corps is developing so extendedly and consistent – inviting more and more countries. I think it is definitely an unique organisation, a great reflection of international cooperation." – said the head of the group Dr. Guenter von Steinaecker.
Furthermore, the visitors had the full possibility to learn also more about the current situation in Poland as well as to familiarize themselves with various aspects of the political and social transformation that had occurred in Poland.
