"Golf Branch" of the HQ MNC NE organized 1st Golf Championship at the Binowo Park Golf Club.
12 Danish, German, Polish and Slovak participants, divided in 4 teams – 1 female and 3 male, consisting of three players each – took part in the Headquarters 1st Golf Championship on Sunday at the Binowo Park Golf Club organized by the "Golf Branch" of the Allied Sport Club (ASC). Both professionals (stroke play) and amateurs (stableford) were given the opportunity to show off their golf skills.
In spite of the occasional strong rain, the players continued the contest until the heavy downpour with lightning and thunders forced them to leave the golf course at 11:00 am.
Warmed up by coffee, more or less dry and full of new energy, the four teams resumed the game at 12:30 pm. However, they decided to finish after the 9th hole as the weather still seemed to be rather insecure because of the ongoing thunders.
The winner in gentlemen became Bjarne Biller, in ladies - Hanne Breck, and the winner of the “amateurs (rabbits)” became Wolfgang Jordan.
