On 20th March 2007 on the initiative of Euro-Atlantic Academic Section, a group of twenty-six students from Szczecin University visited our HQ MNC NE.
The students of mostly International Affairs and Political Science listened to a briefing delivered by Cmdr Artur Bilski with great interest. The students were introduced to general information concerning the functioning of the Multinational Corps Northeast, milestones in its history and current position within the NATO family. Furthermore, the ISAF mission in Afghanistan and MNC NE participation were discussed. After a short break a debate took place during which the students could ask questions and dispel their doubts. The issues of security in Afghanistan and military equipment were raised as well as predictions concerning further development of the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. After the debate, all participants of the event met at common lunch.
