A group of press officers and CIMIC officers took part in a training on the relations with the media.
On 22nd May a PI team paid a visit to Szczecin-based 12th Mechanized Division. A group of press officers and CIMIC officers took part in a training on the relations with the media. Brigadier General Andrzej Gwadera, Deputy Commander of the Division, welcomed all the participants and a common photo was taken in order to commemorate this meeting.
The briefings were given by invited guests as well as Lieutenant Colonel Grzegorz Ciechanowski, spokesperson for the Commander of the 12th Mechanized Division, who brought closer the aspects of dealing with radio and television and provided a lot of practical tips. MNC NE representatives played a role of experts in terms of the creation and functioning of a website during peace support operations. The homepage of Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast served as a real life example since about 160 MNC NE personnel are currently serving at ISAF HQ in Kabul, Afghanistan. The officers listened with interest to the presentation and evoked a set of questions, which were asked afterwards.
