More than seventy people met on Sunday morning in order to have a nice hat and enjoy truly summer weather with the temperature reaching 30 degrees Celsius.
On July 15th, 2007 the last Family Care brunch was organized in the Baltic Barracks. Referring to the saying “last but not least”, this event was also important and abounded in attractions for participants. More than seventy people met on Sunday morning in order to have a nice hat and enjoy truly summer weather with the temperature reaching 30 degrees Celsius. Heat was not an obstacle for children who cheerfully engaged themselves in indoor and outdoor activities. Especially for them the organizers prepared boxes with sweets and toys.
This meeting finishes a popular series of family brunches. It is also the sign that the mission in Afghanistan is slowly coming to an end and that MNC NE soldiers – fathers and husbands – are getting ready to come back home. Therefore in subsequent events in the Baltic Barracks the presence of whole families is expected.
