A group of representatives of Danish Army Command and General Staff Course was invited to learn about the role of MNC NE within the NATO structure.
 On Tuesday, March 28th, the representatives of Danish Army Command and General Staff Course visited the Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE) in Szczecin. Before coming to Szczecin, the group was also visiting the 14th Mechanized Infantry Division "HANSE" in Germany. The main reason for this study tour was to present to the course’s participants the general overview about different military organization in neighboring countries such as Germany and Poland. "Visiting Baltic Barracks is one of the most important parts of the study tour. Here we can observe the real integration among different nations and also spot how the NATO alliance has influenced not only the military organisation but also people mentality" – said one of the participants. During one – day visit the group was invited to hear different presentation on MNC NE role within NATO structure, tasks and organisation also touching interoperability and multinationalism. Furthermore, the visitors had the full possibility to learn more about the current situation in Poland as well as to familiarize themselves with various aspects of the political and social transformation that had occurred in Poland. "For us, it was highly interesting to hear about multinational military organisation, which is developing so fast, how different challenges are met and what are the plans for the MNC NE in the nearest future" – said one of the Danish officers.
