The representatives of Danish Defence Command, German Ministry of Defence and Polish Land Forces discussed problems related with the current status of Afghanistan deployment and preparation to it and the upcoming exercise Crystal Eagle 2006.
The representatives of the Corps Committee (CC) met in HQ MNC NE in Szczecin for one-day session. The purpose of the meeting was to present to the members of CC the overview of Headquarters current issues and to discuss preparation for Afghanistan deployment. That was the first session of the Corps Committee this year. The representatives of Danish Defence Command, German Ministry of Defence and Polish Land Forces discussed problems related with the current status of Afghanistan deployment and preparation to it and the upcoming exercise Crystal Eagle 2006, and the idea of HQ Command Support Brigade. The Corps Committee is a superior authority to the Commander of the Corps in all areas. This especially includes planning, preparation and execution of the Corps’ tasks and missions as well as common training, organisation and logistics.
