On 12 June 2010, the Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC NE) Lieutenant General Rainer Korff, started his official visit to Kabul, Afghanistan, to meet the Corps' personnel serving at the ISAF Joint Command (IJC) and Headquarters ISAF.
