The Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast Lieutenant General Rainer Korff participated in the Distinguished Visitors’ Day of the Anakonda ‘10 exercise, held on 5 October 2010.
General Korff, along with other distinguished guests, participated in a briefing on the aims of the exercise, which was conducted as a videoconference with Lieutenant General Edward Gruszka, the Commander of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces and Exercise Commander. The President of the Republic of Poland Mr Bronisław Komorowski was also listening to the briefing from another location. Then, all guests visited the live firing range, where the capabilities and equipment of the Polish Armed Forces were presented. It was completed with a static display of equipment, which the guests could see afterwards.
