20 German visitors from the Centre of Tactics of the Army led by Colonel Helmut Baumgärtner familiarized with working at Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC NE) environment. The visit took place on 21 October 2010 in Baltic Barracks in Szczecin, Poland.
Lieutenant Colonel Bjarne Hoejgaard Jensen and Master Sergeant Arnold Weber from the Headquarters briefed the guests among others about history, tasks, structure and functions of MNC NE.
One of participants Lieutenant Colonel Wilfried Wussling, who was the third time in Baltic Barracks, told that for him the most interesting part of presentation delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Jensen was the MNC NE mission in Afghanistan. Moreover, he found interesting this part of presentation connected with MNC NE exercises as well as working and living conditions in Szczecin. He thinks that some pieces of information will be really useful during the training process of German Officers in their Centre.
The visit in Baltic Barracks was part of a four day expedition, during which guests accompanied by spouses went sightseeing also to Kołobrzeg and Kamień Pomorski.
