From 18 to 30 October 2010, two staff officers, LTC Waldemar Torbicki and Mr Marian Cihoň from Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE) supported 1 (German/Netherlands) Corps during the Command Post Exercise (CPX) Nemesis Sword 2010.
“My impressions about that exercise Nemesis Sword 2010 were really excellent; I was deeply impressed from the framework of that exercise concerning the situation that 1st German – Netherlands Corps and the training audience had to operate really in a joint and combined environment based on an excellent scenario, very close to Afghanistan,” said Commander Multinational Corps Northeast Lieutenant General Rainer Korff, who visited exercise during the Distinguished Visitors Day on 28th October.
Nemesis Sword 2010 was the second of the two main exercises held by 1 (German/Netherlands) Corps during 2010 and after its redeployment from the ISAF mission in Afghanistan and other mission areas.
