On 14 December 2010, the Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast Lieutenant General Rainer Korff participated in the Distinguished Visitors’ Day during the Eurasian Star ’10 exercise organised by the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Turkey (NRDC-T).
The main idea of the Command Post Exercise Eurasian Star ’10 was to train planning and conducting crisis response operations, including natural disaster relief operations, as NRDC-T is currently preparing for serving as a Land Component Command for NATO Response Force. In fact, also Subject Matter Experts in the area of logistics from HQ MNC NE facilitated the whole training. The 4-person team was headed by Chief of Logistics Division Colonel Bogdan Dawidczyk.
The MNC NE Commander, along with other distinguished guests, had a chance to listen to briefings on the exercise objectives and organisation as well as to visit several cells of the command post. From the perspective of the Multinational Corps Northeast, it is of vital importance to support training events of sister corps in order to share valuable experiences and learn from each other.
