The LOG/MED/MOVE (logistics, medical and movement) study period Baltic Effort 11 was organized by G-4 Division from 22 – 25 November 2011 with a motto: Deployment concept for Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE) and its update.
Baltic Effort 2011 focused on the deployment concept created by HQ MNC NE, its supporting issues and on the timeline ahead and responsibilities, clarifying issues concerning a real deployment of HQ MNC NE.
The supporting aim of the seminar was to maintain, refresh and deepen the relationship among logistic, medical and movement subject matter experts within MNC NE, its Troop Contributing Nation, Poland as a Lead and Host Nation for deployment and civilian authorities, in order to exchange the experiences and developments in the field of mission orientated logistic matters of NATO, especially to concentrate on deployment issues.
BE 11 was conducted as a seminar with a combination of briefings and plenary discussions. In addition, during BE 11 was conducted real reconnaissance to Szczecin seaport and Goleniów airport in order to update planned marshalling, holding and staging areas and ports of embarkation. In addition, further discussions about the topic and specific procedures was held in BB.
