On 27th February 2003, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, Mr. Girts V. KRISTOVSKIS, and his delegation visited the Headquarters of Multinational Corps Northeast at Baltic Barracks in Szczecin.
After the official welcome by the Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast, Lieutenant General ZYGMUNT SADOWSKI and the multinational Guard of Honour of the Corps, MR GIRTS V. KRISTOVSKIS and his delegation were briefed about the current situation of the Corps in detail and aspects of the future.
During the additional walk around the Baltic Barracks MR GIRTS V. KRISTOVSKIS and his delegation also visited the Partnership-for-Peace (PfP) – Liaison – Office at the Headquarters of Multinational Corps Northeast where the Republic of Latvia is represented together with Estonia and Lithuania.
