All PHQ members take part in the Tasker Tracker 2 course. The aim of the training is to streamline work and the flow of information within the Headquarters.

From 7th to 9th March 2007 all PHQ members take part in the Tasker Tracker 2 course. The aim of the training is to streamline work and the flow of information within the headquarters. Tasker Tracker 2 is a system of information management providing a kind of framework for tasks, within which all tasks are assigned, recorded and their states – tracked. The system offers additional collaborative tools as well, which enable effective communication between workers.

This system has already been successfully implemented in several NATO HQs e.g. in Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples or Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe. Therefore also our HQ MNC NE wants to reach NATO standards on the issue of information management and the implementation of Tasker Tracker 2 will start next week.

The course was organized by NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A). It is an organization, which supports NATO and provides scientific support, system concepts, requirements to fielded systems and other operational assistance. As a result NATO is capable of performing its political consultation and military functions of command and control.
